Fareed is a seasoned private banker with over 20 years of experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients across the NRI, NRP, African, and GCC regions. His career spans global institutions including UBS, Credit Suisse, Citibank NA, and Julius Baer, where he has built a reputation for delivering trusted, relationship-driven advisory across generations of families and entrepreneurs.

Before joining Imani as Partner, Fareed was Director at Bank Julius Baer (2019–2021), serving prominent families and business leaders in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Gulf. From 2013 to 2019, he was Assistant Vice President at Credit Suisse, focused on Sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa) and Pakistan. Earlier roles included Associate Director at UBS London (Global South Asia Desk), and wealth management positions in Mumbai with Edelweiss and HDFC Bank, as well as at Citibank NA London.

His cross-border expertise, multicultural fluency, and deep understanding of regional dynamics make him a valued advisor to globally-minded clients seeking bespoke, long-term wealth solutions.
